The National Library of Estonia was opened in 1993 as the custodian of Estonian national memory and heritage, the centre of Estonian literature and national bibliography. Tallinn Town Hall (from 13th-15th century) , first built as an impressive residence of the town council, is located in the Old Town, at the Town Hall Square. It is an oblong two-storey building, constructed of local limestone. Tallinn Town Hall building is one the oldest town halls in  Europe and by no doubt one of the main symbols of Tallinn.The cellars and ground floor of the town hall served for household purposes; the first floor housed the festive public rooms. Nowadays concerts, receptions, meetings and other different events are held in the Citizen’s Hall and neighboring Council Chamber.

The House of Brotherhood of Blackheads

The Brotherhood of Blackheads was an association of unmarried wealthy merchants of German decent and ship owners and the building was used as  their "club-house". The present building is a perfect gala dinner venue with maximum banquet capacity of 200 persons and is mostly used for concerts, seminars and different festive events.
